Essential Energy will be upgrading the electricity network in Lions Park, located off Old Bundarra Road in Inverell, on Friday, 11 April 2025, conditions permitting.

This work was rescheduled from February 2025.

The work will involve pole and powerline replacements, which will affect the park’s power supply.

To ensure the safety of the public and Essential Energy crews, Lions Park will be completely closed to the public between 8:30am and 4:00pm on the day of the upgrade.

Essential Energy appreciates the community’s patience during this important work, which will ensure the ongoing safety and reliability of the local electricity network.
