An investigation has begun into the death of an 11-month-old baby at a property in Glen Innes on Sunday Morning.
Police say the baby boy was found unresponsive at a Hunter St address and rushed to Glen Innes hospital where he later died.
Police are treating the death as suspicious until a cause of death can be properly determined.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the child’s death is now being conducted by detectives attached to New England Police District.
