Inverell police station will have a new Inspector with the appointment of Blake Keating to the position.
Inspector Keating has been with the NSW Police Force for 18 years working at Mid North Coast, Griffith, Moree, and is currently the Detective Sergeant at State Crime Command – Child Abuse Squad in Inverell.
The position has been in caretaker mode since May 2023 with inspector Keating saying he’s looking forward to providing stability and consistency in that role.
He says his vision is to continue to build on the good work of his predecessors by focusing on swift and effective responses to crime, providing a high level of customer service and satisfaction to the community, being visible on the street, and disrupting and targeting persons responsible for any criminal activity at Inverell, and Inverell sectors including Tingha, Delungra, Warialda, Ashford, Yetman, Bingara and Bundarra.
Inspector Keating will start his new role on Monday 24th of March.
