BEST Community Shed handed over two generous cheques recently to the Inverell Rescue Squad and Gilgai Public school.
A cheque for $30,000 was handed over to the Inverell Rescue Squad which has kickstarted their fundraising efforts for an Infrastructure Upgrade with plans to renovate and upgrade the rescue station.
Meantime, a $2000 donation was given to the Gilgai School P&C to assist them with buying a new freezer for the school canteen.
Ken Middleton from the BEST Community Shed says every dollar the community spends in the BEST Community Shed is donated back into the community.
