Works on the Wentworth Street Bridge in Glen Innes have been completed and is now open to traffic.
The work, which commenced in March this year, saw the demolition of the old timber bridge structure and construction of the replacement concrete bridge over Rocky Ponds Creek.
Glen Innes Severn Shire Council thanked the community and motorists for their patience and appreciates their cooperation while these essential works were being carried.
This project is funded by the NSW Government’s Fixing Country Bridges program and was delivered by Council’s Works Department and specialist contractors.
