Warialda is preparing for yet another big weekend following last weekend’s Group 19 Grand Finals when the 17th Warialda Honey Festival is held at Jim Payne Oval tomorrow.
Some of this year’s attractions include Beezotted holding a native bee information stall with stingless viewing hives, solitary bee hotel examples, information on how to make bee hotels and stingless bee honey for tasting along with Warialda’s famous mascot Bieber the Bee
There will also be the announcement and presentation of the Fay Honour and Debbie Ford Busy Bee Award as well as Busy Bee Scavenger Hunt, kid’s rides, a gumboot throwing competition as well as various market stalls including jewellery, hair and community engagement stalls
The Warialda Honey festival kicks off at 10am and runs through until 2pm
