Inverell FC Premier League 1sts and reserves teams are looking to continue their winning form as they close in on finals week, hosting last year’s winners South Armidale United FC at the complex this weekend.
Though the 1st grade team are sitting in 3rd spot on the ladder behind Moore Ck and Armidale Westside, the Inverell side currently has a 2 game advantage over the top 2 and trailing by just 5 points behind Westside, meaning the next 2 games must be won in order for the 1sts to win the Minor Premiership.
Meanwhile, the Women’s Armidale Premier Legue team head to Armidale this Sunday to face comp leaders Norths United.
The Armidale League 3rd and 4th grade team will be having a well-deserved rest taking the bye ahead of a final’s bout in the coming weeks.
