The Rale Rasic Joey’s Mini World Cup being held this year in Inverell is set to be the biggest event in the Cup’s 14 year history.
More than 900 players have signed on making up almost 70 teams to compete in this year’s event, and it’s estimated that, with family members and contributing staff, over 2500 visitors will be descending upon the shire at the end of September, with some teams coming from as far as Rockhampton and Adelaide.
Fiona Adams from Ladybug Projects says the response from local businesses supporting the event has been substantial, however more would be welcomed
