The AFL Northwest Men’s Minor Premiership is up for grabs tomorrow when the competition leaders the Inverell Saints tackle the Tamworth Swans at Varley Oval.

The Saints are a game clear on the ladder and have a big percentage advantage over the Swans but dropping a game just prior to finals is not what Coach Matt Harrison would be wanting.

A win tomorrow for the Saints Men’s team will guarantee them a home grand Final on Saturday August 31st.

The Saints Women are also wanting to build some momentum towards finals when they tackle the Swans with coach Dallas Baldwin believing his team is peaking at the right end of the season.

It’s a big day for the Club as they host their annual ladies Day event.

In the other Round 11 match, the Tamworth Kangaroos host the Gunnnedah Bulldogs.

The Saints Under 14s team play their first match in over a month when they tackle the New England Nomads on Sunday.
