The Australian Deaf Rugby Team are two victories from 2 games played overnight in the International 10s Rugby Tournament played South Africa.
The Aussies, coached by former Inverell Highlanders Captain Coach Dave Kearsey, thumped England 24-5 in their first match before hanging on to a 10-7 against South Africa.
Kearsey had to strap on the boots last night with the squad losing several players to injury but with one day left, he’s hoping the team will dig deep and get more wins.
The team will once again play England and South Africa tonight ahead of the Grand Final.
