Inverell FC Premier League 1st grade team have excelled themselves despite losing to competition leaders Newcastle-Croatia 6-3 in the final of the Northern NSW Men’s State Community Plate at Lake Macquarie on Saturday.
The highly favoured Newcastle team were blistering for the first 60 minutes booting 6 unanswered goals before Inverell F.C rallied late in the game
Meantime Inverell F.C registered good win in their respective Armidale League games with their 3rd grade team scoring a 4-1 win over South Armidale United FC, a 6-0 win in 4th grade against South Armidale United FC while their Armidale Women’s Premier League registered a 4-0 victory over competition leaders Armidale City Westside FC at the complex.
