Organisers have decided to cancel today’s March in Tingha due to the wet conditions.

NAIDOC Week celebrations continue this week in the region with the focus centring on Tingha celebrations today.

Participants in the Street March are asked to gather at Grahame Park at 10:15 with the March kicking off along Ruby St towards the Land Council from 10:30

A flag raising ceremony will be held at 11am with activities and morning te being held back at Grahame Park from 11:30.

Inverell’s NAIDOC Week Celebrations were successfully held yesterday with a Street March and various activities at Victoria Park.

Unfortunately, the Inverell NAIDOC Awards Night and the Hospital Morning Tea have both been postponed to September following the passing loved ones in the last couple of weeks.
