Inverell local Allison Lane was recently awarded an Honorary Life Membership with RSPCA NSW in recognition of her incredible volunteering efforts over the past three decades.
For 34 years, Allison’s service actually started after spotting an ad in the Inverell Times and she’s been treasurer of the Inverell Branch ever since.
She was surprised with the honour at the RSCPA NSW 2026 Member and Volunteer Conference.
RSPCA NSW state people like Allison are vital to the work of the RSPCA and her efforts over the years have helped countless animals!
Alison says the recognition was very unexpected and just blew her away adding after being involved with the RSPCA for so long, it’s a real honour, and she’s very proud of it.
