A 53-year-old man has been formally charged with murder after an alleged domestic violence stabbing incident in Armidale yesterday morning.
Emergency services were called to a Rockvale Road unit just after 2 o’clock following reports of a stabbing.
New England Police District officers attended and found a 48-year-old woman with multiple stab wounds
She was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, died at the scene.
Vincent Raymond Blair was arrested at the scene and taken to Armidale Police Station where he was charged with murder.
He was refused bail to appear before Armidale Local Court on the 16th December.
