Inverell trainer Todd Payne says he’s extremely confident that his horse Lisztomania will run well in Saturday’s $2million The Kosciusko at Royal Randwick on Saturday.
Payne says Lisztomania has been faultless since his last run victory at Rosehill in August, having the 8-year-old gelding spend 10 days in the paddock resting after the run before commencing his preparations.
He says the wet weather forecast for Sydney this week won’t bother Lisztomania adding the wetter it is, the better placed he’ll be as he gets through the wet ground well.
Payne says after finishing 4th in this race last year, he’s confident of a better result this year following his last start win at Rosehill.
