The growing popularity of the annual Deepwater races has been recognised at the annual Country Racing Awards.
The Deepwater Club has been announced as the recipient of the Most Outstanding Achievement Community and Picnics Award.
The Club holds it annual Cup meeting in January and crowds have increased from the hundreds to the thousands, which in turn has boosted the economy of the small town over the race weekend.
