Holy Trinity student Luke Readett has commenced his events as part of the international Cross Country Athletics Tour in Las Vegas.
In his first event, a 3km event, Luke placed 2nd out of 120 competitors in a time of 9:48, around 8 seconds from the winner
Luke’s 2nd race of the trip, another 3km event on a course which was grass, concrete and gravel and plenty of hill to run on, was a better result.
He won the event in a time of 9:48 which he says was not what he was looking to do but good enough to get the job done.
