BEST Community Shed has handed over a cheque for $10,000 to assist, rebuild and revitalise the Dramamatics.
Dramamatics is a community based performing arts ensemble for people with a disability and provides wonderful opportunities and positive outcomes for its participants.
Ken Middleton from BEST Community Shed says former local Michelle Jedlicka had created, directed and provided props at her own expense but unfortunately, she has left the district.
Mr Middleton says the $10,000 grant was requested by the group to cover props, venue hire and professional fees.
He says the disability cause is close to the heart of BEST Community Shed and have, in the past, provided funding to other not for profit organsations like Dramamatics for their concert lighting sound and individual talent.
