Local charity Food for the Soul – Community Run Soup Kitchen is asking the Inverell community for their support in sharing an important community initiative this Christmas.
Each year, the organisation provides a free festive takeaway Christmas meal for anyone in the Inverell community who may be in need or simply appreciate some extra support during the holiday season.
The free takeaway Christmas meal will be available on Christmas Eve, behind the Salvation Army Church Hall in Vivian Street between 2 and 3pm
Zoe Hannam from Food for the Soul stressed there’s limited meals available adding the packs will be filled with Christmas treats including ham, chicken and salad, desert and some other goodies.
