More than $8000 was raised for the Inverell Breast Cancer Support Group following last weekend’s Bundarra Garden Festival.
Tania Swan from the Garden Festival Committee says it was quite an overwhelming weekend with almost 300 people visiting the 6 gardens that were open to the public as well as a marriage proposal
Mrs Swan says people came from as far as Sydney and Brisbane to be part of the festival while locals from Inverell, Tingha, Armidale and Bundarra again showed their support.
She says the weekend was an absolute success and thanked the community for showing their support.
