Inverell High School’s 3rd Sapphire Skies 2025 Astronomy night at Cameron Park has been rescheduled for tomorrow evening, after weather conditions last month forced organisers to postpone the event.
Star gazers, students and the community are invited for a night under the stars which will feature telescope viewings, various astronomy tours, astrophotography, and face painting
Andrew Tann from Inverell High school says they’re hoping for better weather conditions and clear skies this Friday evening and is encouraging the community to bring their curiosity, blankets, seats, and cameras to enjoy an unforgettable astronomy experience under clear Australian skies.
Mr Tann says it’s a great opportunity to learn about the night sky and the various constellations through the various astronomy tours planned for the night
The event kicks off at 6:30 at Cameron Park.
