The Great Escape Oz Car Rally will be making its way back to Inverell next week raising awareness and funds for Cystic Fibrosis research.
This event began back in 2002 and to date has raised in excess of $6 million and this year will be taking off from Newcastle and finishing at Airlie Beach.
Cystic Fibrosis is the most common life-threatening illness affecting our children today, primarily attacking the lungs and the digestive system before taking life itself and there is no cure.
Mal Boardman from the Great Escape Oz Car Rally says the community will know when they arrive in town.
The Rally is scheduled to arrive at Emmaville and Inverell this Monday and Tuesday visiting the National Transport Museum, Inverell Sporties and Rural Wrecking at Oakwood.
