Nomads captain Hunter Greene with 7 majors and vice-captain James Walters with 5 led the way for the home side in their 19.12.126 to 10.8.68 win.
The Nomads forfeited their Women’s game to the Poochettes while over in Tamworth, the Kangaroos and the Swans failed to get onto the ground after the local council failed to mark the Riverside ground.
This weekend’s final round will determine the minor premierships in both the Men’s and women’s competitions with the Inverell Saints in the box seat to host the major semis in a fortnight.
