A local midwife, based in Inverell, is celebrating 40 years in nursing and midwifery.
Kim McLeod started as a student nurse’s aide in 1985, progressing to become a registered midwife and lactation consultant, guiding countless families through one of life’s biggest moments.
Not only has she made an impact on many families lives during this time, Kim’s patchwork quilts and cross-stitch creations have become a beloved part of Inverell Hospital’s maternity unit.
On a social media post, Hunter New England Local Health District congratulated her for warmth, wisdom, and creativity which has made a lasting impact on their team and community.
