A man in his 40s sustained injuries in the accident with the patient treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and the helicopter’s critical care medical team before being airlifted to Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital.
Then around 1:30pm, a chopper was called to a property west of Tenterfield to attend to a man in his 30s who had sustained shoulder injuries after slipping in a creek bed.
