Inverell’s Sapphire City Concert Band is set to celebrate its 30th anniversary this weekend with the community encouraged to come along and celebrate with them.
The Band, which started in 1995, will be joined by the Ballina Shire Concert Band, New England Wind Ensemble, Inverell Pip Band, the Inverell Singers and the Northern Chorale for the event which will celebrate the band’s 30 years of bringing music to the Inverell community.
The event will also act as a fundraiser for the Band, raising money to help them go to the Band Association of NSW’s State Band Championships in Sydney at the end of August and will have raffle tickets available for purchase at the door.
The Concert will be held this Saturday starting 6:30pm at the Inverell Town Hall and tickets will be available at the door, cash and EFTPOS facilities will also be available.
