Inverell junior cricketer Georgie Lennord has been selected for the Northern Stars Under 19 Girls team.

Georgie and the Northern Stars will participate in this year’s Under 19s Female Country Championships in Coffs Harbour between September 29th and October 2nd.

The local cricketer has trained in Armidale, Tamworth, Scone and Gloucester over the winter with the final selections made on the weekend and has been selected as a spinning all-rounder.

This will be the first time the North Coast and Central North squads will combine to play as the Northern Stars.

Georgie has also been selected for the North West CHS team.
