Inverell trainer Ridge Wilson’s star continues to shine after scoring yet another winner at Tamworth yesterday.
Wilson latest win came with Meddlesome who claimed her maiden victory after four starts with a win in the opening race – a maiden plate over 1400 metres in wet conditions.
Leading shortly after the start, Meddlesome ridden by Christian Reith scored a 2 ½ length win over the Brett Cavanough trained Reluctant Diva.
Wilson says the horse will now have a relaxing spell in the paddock and enjoy a well-earned break.
It was Ridge Wilson’s 13th winner in his past 50 starters, and he will be aiming to maintain that strike rate on Saturday where he has 5 runners nominated for the Inverell meeting.
Races 5 to 8 at Tamworth were later postponed due to the track deteriorating following continuous rain.
