Motorists in Inverell would have noticed a continuous white line of paint marking some streets in the town and are advised to be mindful of the extra paint on the road.
Inverell Shire Council wishes to advise they’re aware of the white paint after receiving numerous reports from the public this week.
It’s believed a line marking vehicle was responsible for the incident which dropped white paint from near Narrabri, through Bingara and onto Inverell.
The markings are reported to have stopped just east of Inverell.
Council says they’re in the process of addressing the issue and hope to have it rectified as soon as possible.
