Warialda residents are advised that Level 3 Water Restrictions are in place due to Gwydir Shire Council’s reduced capacity to pump water and current weather conditions generating an increased demand for water usage.
Fixed sprinklers may only be used between 8pm and 10pm on an odds and evens system with even street numbered houses able to use their sprinklers on Monday and Wednesday while odd street numbered houses may use their sprinklers on Thursday and Saturday.
This trial will be reviewed weekly.
Use of handheld hoses is permitted by residents in Warialda at any time of the day, however the most effective use is after 8pm and before 10am.
