Glen Innes Severn Council have apologised to residents for a water billing issue following a system issue.
In a social media Post, Council state due to circumstances beyond their control, they regret to inform residents that Quarter 2 water bills were issued later than usual and were dispatched on 27 June 2024 and note that the due date for the Quarter 2 water bills is 28 July 2024.
Council advises looking ahead, they expect that Quarter 3 & 4 water bills will be processed by 31 July 2024 and issued by mid-August 2024.
They state they understand that receiving two bills close together may pose a challenge and if any ratepayer foresees any challenges in meeting this deadline, they encourage them to promptly contact the Town Hall office to discuss and arrange a suitable payment plan.
