The reopening of the Warialda Pool is looking promising after the new pump arrived in town during the week.

Gwydir Shire council have confirmed the pump will be installed on Monday with the pool water to be treated.

Council is optimistic that the lessee will be able to open the pool next Saturday 2 November.

It follows the previous pump failing earlier this month and council resolving it could not be repaired and had to be replaced with the new pump coming all the way from Melbourne.
