Christmas in Warialda officially is launched tonight with the town’s Christmas Carnival taking place at the Warialda Town Square starting at 6pm.
Along with Market and Food stalls, there’ll be face painting, a Bauble Hunt, entertainment from Will Clift and local performers, the lighting of the town’s Christmas tree and a visit from Santa.
Gwydir Shire council have advised of a road closure of Hope Street between 3 and 11pm with road closure in place from the Stephen Street intersection to the Hall Street intersection.
The road closure will not impact Stephen or Hall Street.
