A man wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant has faced court charged with domestic violence and assault-related offences at Boggabilla.
Officers attached to New England Police District received reports of several alleged intimidation offences in Boggabilla between last Sunday and Monday and following inquiries, police attended a home on Merriwa Street, Boggabilla on Wednesday afternoon to speak with a man.
The man ran from the location and police commenced a foot pursuit but managed to arrest him a short time later, taking the 24 year old to Moree Police Station where he was charged with two counts of stalk/intimidate intend fear physical harm, common assault, and affray.
Police also executed an outstanding arrest warrant for domestic violence, and weapon-related offences.
He was refused bail to reappear in Moree Local court on Monday
