The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission have issued an urgent recall for multiple types of vehicle jacks from a particular brand.

Sihao PTY LTD, trading as Vevor Australia, have multiple vehicle jacks affected by the recall including a Low profile floor jack, Scissor Jack, Hydraulic Toe Jack, an Air Hydraulic bottle jack and a 1.5ton low profile dual pump jack.

The products do not comply with the mandatory standard for trolley jacks as they do not meet the requirements for labelling, construction and performance.

There is a risk of serious injury or death if the jack fails and the vehicle falls on the user.

Consumers should stop using the jacks immediately and contact Vevor to return the products to a warehouse to receive a full refund via email at support@vevor.com.au
