Uralla Shire Councillors and staff are mourning the death of beloved Councillor, Lone Petrov, last Sunday following a brief illness.
In a social media post, Uralla Shire Council state Councillor Petrov was a valued and dedicated member of the Uralla community, known for her kindness, her caring nature, and her strong involvement in community life adding her passing will be felt by many.
Northern Tablelands MP Brendan Moylan says made a positive difference in many people’s lives.
Council offices and front-line services will be closed between 10am and 1pm on Monday for Councillor Petrov’s funeral.
