by | Aug 8, 2025 | Community, Local Government | 0 comments

The clean-up after the weekend snowstorms continue over in Uralla Shire with homes still without power across the region.

Council staff are working to quickly repair roads in the network which were damaged with Torryburn Bridge remaining closed to through traffic, Terrible Vale Causeway is impassable due to flooding and some rural roads still being cleared.

Council advises the Bundarra Campdraft has been cancelled due to unsafe conditions at the Showground while the Uralla BMX track is temporarily closed due to storm damage to the shade structure and the Wooldridge Fossicking Area is also closed while Council teams manage falling limbs.

Those residents wanting to dump green waste are advised the Uralla sports complex green waste drop-off point is open to all residents from 7am to 4pm daily, including this Saturday and Sunday while the Bundarra Tip is open as usual, with no charge for storm-damaged green waste.
