A day of celebration and remembrance will take place in Glen Innes next month for the recognition of Tynwald Day.
Tynwald is the name of the Parliament of the Isle of Man which is one of the acknowledged Celtic nations in Glen Innes, with the Australian Standing Stones Management Board conducting a flag lowering ceremony to acknowledge Tynwald Day.
Event goers will also be treated to tales of the Isle of Man as well as enjoying a toast to the Manx people along with a taste of some traditional Manx food.
The event will take place at the Australian Standing Stones Monument Site on Saturday 5th July for a gold coin donation, with further enquiries made by contacting 6730 2400 or by emailing tourism@gisc.nsw.gov.au
