A 42-year-old Inverell woman has been charged with stealing offences allegedly committed last week.
Police say the woman stole from a person following an alleged incident outside a residential premises in the Inverell township, as well as larceny in relation to retail thefts committed in the Inverell CBD.
The offences are alleged to have been committed between the 5th and 10th April.
The woman was arrested by police and will appear at Inverell Local Court on Thursday after being conditionally bailed by the court.
Meantime, an Inverell youth was arrested and charged last Wednesday with Break & Enter commit serious indictable offence in relation to several alleged commercial break and enter offences committed in the Inverell township between late March and early April.
He has been conditionally bailed to appear in Inverell Children’s Court on 8th of May
