The Inverell Saints have had five players finish in the top 10 in the League’s Best & Fairest count, the Tony Gillies Medal, held online last night.
Jed Carroll was the best polling player with 9 votes, followed by Nash Tome and Jordan Sue Fong with 7 votes, Cooper Taveira with 6 while captain Hayden Chappell squeezed into 10th place with 5 votes.
Nick Fisher from the Tamworth Swans claimed the Tony Gillies Medal, polling 19 votes from his nearest opponent Darcy Hill from the Gunnedah Bulldogs.

Saints youngster Cooper Taveira claimed the AFL Northwest Rising Star award for the second successive year.
The Gerry Griffiths award for leading goal kicker went to Tamworth Swans Lachlan Bennetts-Inkster while the Coaches award was awarded to Darcy Hill from the Gunnedah Bulldogs.
The League’s Team of the Year will be announced on Friday night ahead of Grand Final Day at Varley Oval on Saturday
