The Tingha Tigers make their first appearance in the Group 19 Rugby League competition on Sunday when they host the Uralla Tigers at Bob Ward Oval.
Last year’s grand finalists will be hoping to go one step better in 2026 but know Uralla will also have something to prove after they were eliminated by Tingha in last year’s finals.
In other round 2 matches, Glen Innes are at home to Guyra while Barraba make their debut into Group 19 when they meet Moree Boomerangs.
The Inverell Hawks and Warialda Wombats will have this weekend’s bye.
