The Pumper & Fat Cat Head to Inverell

by | Jul 1, 2025 | Arts & Culture, Community, Sport | 0 comments

Two Aussie sporting legends will be arriving in Inverell this Saturday to tell some stories to locals at a function at the Tatts Hotel.

Former Australian Test cricketer Greg Ritchie and popular jockey Jim Cassidy will be the special guests in an event called Tales at the Tatts.

Mr Ritchie had not only a wonderful sporting career but also became a popular media identity, in particular with his alter ego Mahatma Coat, while Mr Cassidy won two Melbourne and Caulfield Cups, a Cox Plate and a Golden Slipper.

Scott ‘Slip’ Williams from the Tatts Hotel says they’ll also be an auction carried out on the night along with great food and plenty of laughs.

Tickets are available from the main bar at the Tatts for $100 each.
