A 15-year-old boy has been granted bail after a break-in at a house in May St earlier this week.
Police say between Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning; a wallet and car keys were stolen from the house.
Inverell Police conducted investigations and subsequently executed a search warrant at an address in George St, Inverell where the teenager was later arrested for breaching bail conditions, and another trespassing incident on nearby Oswald Street on Wednesday evening.
The boy appeared in Parramatta Children’s Court via video link yesterday where he was granted bail to appear at Inverell Children’s Court at a later date.
Investigations are continuing into the May Street break in.
