The Stud Stock Industry suffered a huge loss with the shock passing of shorthorn stalwart Sandy Munro.

Born Alexander Forbes Munro in Weebollbolla, Moree as a fourth generation agriculturist, Sandy’s contribution to the Munro family’s 150 yr farming legacy as managing director was nothing short of incredible.

Sandy’s family was one of the north-west region’s earliest settlers, owning Weebollabolla, a mixed farming and grazing operation since 1873.

Sandy passed away last Thursday 18^th July and is survived by his wife Judith, as well as his daughters Catriona, Kirsten, Jennifer and Jacquelin.
