Power Equipment company Stihl Pty Ltd have issued a recall of a popular Brushcutter due to safety risks.
The Stihl FS 516 C-EM Z Brushcutter, sold between April 3rd 2023 and 18th December 2024, has been recalled due to a risk that the gear head on affected brushcutters may break off during use.
The recall notice states in the event this occurs, there is a risk of serious injury to users and bystanders if the cutting attachment detaches during use.
Consumers are asked to stop using the brushcutters immediately and return it or the gear head to your local Stihl dealer for a free repair.
