Inverell’s Stars Dance for Cancer is back in 2027 with 8 local identities revealed at a launch last week.
A fundraising event in its third year in Inverell, this year’s superstars hope to raise $60,000 for Cancer Council’s patient support services, life-saving cancer research, screening, education and advocacy programs.
The eight stars include Rick Ellis, Stephen Hamilton, Kylie Hawkins, Courtney Pay, Miles Devlin, Kate Dight, Dion French and STA FM’s own Louis Ramos.
Community Fundraising Specialist for Cancer Council New England/Northwest Sally-Anne Whitten says with the high number of Inverell Shire cancer patients accessing cancer support services through the Cancer Council, she is delighted to see Inverell locals come together to help raise funds through this fun community event.
Inverell’s Stars Dance for Cancer will be held at the Town Hall on March 20, 2027, with tickets to go on sale early in the New Year
