Respected Inverell businessman Brian Baldwin has been recognised in state parliament for his continuing contribution to Inverell and the wider community by Northern Tablelands MP Brendan Moylan
Mr Moylan highlighted Mr Baldwin’s long and distinguished career in stock and station and auctioneering as well as his 60 years of selling stock at the Inverell saleyards.
The local member congratulated Mr Baldwin for his greatest legacy being his community work through Apex, Rotary, St Vincent De Paul, the Catholic Church, Holy Trinity School, and the racing industry where he held executive positions and called races for decades.
He commended the 90-year-old on his many accomplishments and for his lasting legacy, two of those being named Inverell Citizen of the Year in 2011 and for receiving a widely applauded OAM in 2013.
