The Pally Pub will be hosting their first ever Speed Shear this Saturday from 12.30pm.
Over 80 shearers from across Australia & New Zealand will be competing as they raise funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation with raffles, merchandise & a Calcutta organised for the day.
Event organiser Heather Bearman says a total of $36,000 in prizemoney is on offer in three divisions which includes an Intermediate, Seniors and Open sections.
Ms Bearman says they’ll be trying to raise some big cash for a worthy cause.
Shearers considering taking part in the event must nominate as soon as possible as places are filling quickly and are asked to go to the Pally Pub Facebook Page.
