Inverell High School Year 12 student Sophie Greentree has earned selection in the Northwest Open Girls League squad following trials held in Narrabri on Monday.
Sophie is a talented all-round athlete, excelling in multiple sports, and this latest achievement is a testament to her dedication and skill.
She will now head to Gilgandra at the end of May to represent the region.
The good sporting news continues for the school after the recent winter zone trials where several students achieved outstanding results across multiple sports.
Addison Murphy, Heidi Scott, and Megan Scott and India hall gained selection in the Open Girls Netball Zone Team, Jonathon Arandale, Kai Douglass, Temi Deji-Ojo, Tom Putter, Nicholas Alliston, and Hamish Swanbrough were selected in the Open Boys Football Soccer Zone Team, Olivia Selig in the Open Girls Football Soccer team, Toby Morgan, Kaydon Roberts, and Jack Partridge selected in the 15s Rugby League Zone Team and Colby Walker and Kade Schneider in the Opens Rugby League Zone Team.
