Snow Flurries Fall In The Region

by | Jul 16, 2024 | Weather | 0 comments

The Bureau of Meteorology reported snow falls observed in the Northern Tablelands yesterday with flurries observed at Glen Innes, Ebor, and Guyra..

The wintery blast will continue across south-east Australia through the early part of this week, meaning more cool days, and cold, frosty mornings for parts of NSW and southern and inland Queensland.

NSW SES New England yesterday warned motorists to be safe on local roads, especially at night and during the early hours of the morning, where black ice on roads may make driving conditions dangerous.

Meantime, a sheep graziers warning is current for the Northern Tablelands and Northwest Slopes and Plains regions with Sheep graziers warned that cold temperatures, rain and showers and westerly winds are expected, bringing a risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.
